Nova Scotia Instructional Leadership Academy

    Course content will include: differentiation of instruction, curriculum planning using the Nova Scotia curriculumoutcomes framework, and understanding by design (beginning with the end in mind), and will examine the big ideas, essential questions, and unifying concepts in the curriculum from the perspective of the instructional leader. It will also include curriculum mapping(yearly planning, unit planning, lesson planning),classroom management theories and practices, positive discipline strategies,as well as community building strategies in the classroom.
